Xinomavro, Malagouzia, Assyrtiko
This is Rosé, but not as we know it. The wine ferments with indigenous yeasts & is aged in old barrels for two months with some battonage, profound nice Rosé colour from 100% Xinomavro & sulfite-free. The nose is characteristic of the Xinomavro variety: sun-dried tomatoes & black olives. Hints of strawberry & blackberry complete this impressive bouquet. In the mouth, rich, with intense & noticeable but well-balanced acidity. In the end, a long persistent fruity aftertaste with little residual sugar leaves an impressive ‘Greek summer’ sensation, but perfect any time of year.
