Blaufränkisch
The vines are grown in slate, orthogneiss & limestone. Hand-harvested & sorted before pressing & undergoing natural fermentation for ten days in stainless steel. The extended maceration is aided with the use of an air pump. Malolactic fermentation takes place before ageing in 1,200 litre wooden casks — a terroir-driven wine with aromas of black cherry & blackberry & a soft spicy finish.
