&reas believes in making wine that he likes. This wine is not a traditional Mosel as it blends all of his parcels on the steep slate slopes of the Mosel river. Organically farmed & h&- harvested, the wine is fermented spontaneously in 60-year-old 600-litre oak barrels & then three months in stainless steel for clarification. This gives a bone dry wine, with ripe apricot & sweet Golden Delicious apples, & a lean mineral edge. The finish is long, with thrilling mixed orchard fruits.
