Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot 

The best vineyards on the Left Bank are in sight of the Gironde river. It is here you can taste while looking over the river. Hervé Duboscq took over in 1952 & brought the vineyards back to life after decades of neglect. His two grandsons are now at the helm. The farming is organic, grapes hand- harvested & fermentation takes places in concrete vats using only natural yeast. 100% new oak ageing for 18 months lends a toasty, smoky character. A frame of round tannins supports the weighty berries on the palate.
