Margaux is seen as the most elegant of Left Bank appellations, & Labegorce is a house that is growing in stature. They practice careful use of chemicals, with zero herbicide. Hand-harvested with cold maceration fermentation. Each parcel is vinified separately. Malolactic fermentation takes place in oak, then the wine rests for 15 months. Gorgeous, very pure blackberry, raspberry & a pressed violet bouquet. The palate is medium-bodied with tannin & an elegant finish.
