Fermented in concrete, with malolactic fermentation & ageing for up to 18 months in 100% new oak. François goes his own way when it comes to the Saint-Émilion Classification as well. While he would easily be awarded Premier Cru Classé’ status, he prefers to remain unclassified. In fact, when asked to submit his wines for classification in 1984, he just hung up the phone. Even under challenging years, this wine does not disappoint.
