Pinot Noir

The soil is clay at the surface & pebbly limestone deeper down, quite uneven, a terroir out of the ordinary. Eastern exposure, just below mid-slope, leads to early ripening. Deep with almost a hint of liquorice in the background, long finish with well-structured tannins. This is exceptional.
